據科技日報6月8日消息，高端維修技術聚焦於核島設備，立足緩解材料退化、解除設備功能降級風險，是一項集成設計、材料、焊接、機電、檢測等多專業的綜合性工作，對科研、工程技術水平要求極高。回火堆焊技術是核電高端維修的主流技術之一，通過在風險區域進行堆焊，形成新壓力邊界，以加強局部結構、改善應力分布，防止破損，同時糾正焊接熱影響區的劣化組織，確保部件功能。

秦山核電站是我國大陸首座核電站，目前已安全運行27年。在長期運行中，作為核電站關鍵核心設備之一的穩壓器預防性維修迫在眉睫。作為穩壓器安全端維修首選方案，回火堆焊技術成為突破目標。

2014年，中核運行以秦山核電站延壽需求為契機，啟動相關技術研發工作。核動力院與中核運行齊心協力組建研究團隊，圍繞結構設計、裝備研製、工藝研發等，成功完成了技術攻關。2015年12月，“穩壓器安全端接管自動回火堆焊維修技術”通過了國家核安全局審查。

自今年年初起，在中核運行組織下，該技術首次在秦山核電現場被組織實施。經過3個月持續作業，穩壓器安全端維修順利完工。
